IMPACT ZONE PHILOSOPHY

Teaching styles and golf swings vary as much as signatures, no two are exactly alike. How does one explain how Lee Trevino, Johnny Miller, Jim Furyk, Fuzzy Zoeller, Miller Barber, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Corey Pavin and many more have been some of the best ball-strikers in golf’s history, with such unusual and never duplicated swing styles? The answer reveals the secret golfers have long been seeking — their impact positions are almost all identical. The bottom line is not found in their style of swing but how wonderfully they are able to achieve great impact.

The Impact Zone philosophy begins by identifying what that proper impact really is and how all golfers can achieve it. In so doing, golfers can have the knowledge of what they want to accomplish at impact through their swing. When impact is improved, scores go down and the enjoyment of the game skyrockets.
The Impact Zone philosophy continues to include the right approach to accomplishing great impact. This is where the rubber meets the road and how golfers can see a real difference. Varied approaches such as visualization, drills, repetition and hitting pitch shots first and longer shots later, all work together to insure the student’s game accelerates at the fastest possible rate. The Impact Zone will create satisfied golfers who will possess the foundation to enjoy the game for a lifetime.

Impact Zone Golf

Bobby Clampett enjoyed both a spectacular amateur and collegiate career, with many of his records still standing today. Turning professional at the age of 20, after his junior year at BYU, Bobby embarked on a new journey, as he played on the tour 16 years then transitioning into an analyst/commentator role in more recent years. Through the lens of the player as well as the analyst/commentator, he studied what good players do to create dynamic impact and joined that insight together with his own experience and learnings.

The results of his keen insight were manifested in his book, The Impact Zone, published in April 2007, with assistance from talented golf writer, Andy Brumer.  In 2013, Impact Zone Golf launched the DVD training system to improve golfer's games.
With the publication of the book came a flood of accolades from readers — from amateurs to teaching professionals, and other astute observers of the game such as fellow TV golf commentators, and golf writers. Also with that has arisen a tremendous desire for instruction, more supporting media, aids, and just to be in touch.

To fulfill these requests, we are pleased to bring to Impact Zone Golf, a wide range of instructional offerings, services, and products designed to enhance and accelerate the enjoyment and learning of the game of golf.
